Thanks i have up to date my location. I have been pouring over the internet the last few days trying to parent out a way to make this work. I'll go locate what i have started and post a image which may assist explain what i am trying to make.

How tons strength does this want? ?if greater than trivial you'll want to go along with a difficult solder or brazing. ?also fluxes and pickles can be fabric unique; ensure you are the usage of ones rated for steel. Thank you, i will get the stay smooth flux locally so maybe i'll just go that route and strive the hard solder i've already. Sure i should follow a honest little bit of warmness and the flux bubbles up and so on. So i can be contaminating the joint as properly.

Do i need a special flux or solder? Is my torch no longer hot enough?? i haven't any idea if this cord has been annealed both as i personal another kind i have never attempted yet that is annealed. You've got all be very useful thank you. I went to my nearby home depot and defined what i was seeking to do. The person said i'd want to use an acetylene torch with a copper brazing rod which they offered or he endorsed the use of a mapp/oxy installation which they offered there however i if i buy a brand new torch i want some thing with a finer tip.? i recognise it could be accomplished with a butane torch because the ladies i bought a similar metallic cord from on-line (hers is a 14 gauge so thicker) advised me she is the use of a butane torch no longer whilst first-rate as mine with a silver solder paste and it really works. So i'm seeing if i can get a silver solder paste right here in canada or buy one from america.? i did try the 14 gauge and nearly were given it to work. I'm able to get the stay clean flux regionally so suppose i might also just purchase that (mainly if it works for silver too) and spot if that works.? if now not i will cross the paste route or get innovative and determine out a way to design without soldering the hyperlinks.
